The leadership team is responsible for the management of the team and its current direction. They run the day to day operations of the team, from recruitment to project management to finances. Their role is to ensure that the team is working towards its goals, which includes sourcing new projects for the development team to work on, networking with clinicians and researchers, and running recruitment efforts to attract new members. The leadership team is for the passionate individuals who are interested in not only managing the team but chosing what the future of the team will look like.
The development team is the primary group within Monash AIM. Their role is to lead research projects into areas within medical imaging. This involves researching into medical conditions and developing imaging models to diagnose or treat those conditions. From this we aim to develop software that can be used in a clinical setting. The development team is for those who are interested in AI, and its applications in medical imaging.
The education team is responsible for educating new members on the basics of medical imaging and AI. This is done through workshops and tutorials where they use teaching materials they have prepared to teach both medical and IT students. This allows for new members to prepare themselves for the work they will be doing in the team. In addition to this, the education team is responsible for the creation of informative content that will be released to the public in the form of blog posts, infographics, and any other way to spread awareness. The education team is for those who are interested in teaching, and creating educational content.
The marketing team is responsible for creating content for social media, and for running both internal and external team events as to promote the team. Their primary role is to attract new members to the team, and to promote the work of the team to the public. Currently the marketing team is working on establishing our identity, through creating our branding and social media presence. In the future the marketing team will be responsible for recruitment efforts, and running events for the team. The marketing team is for those who are interested in content creation, and social media management. Willing to represent the team and promoter our work to the public.
